Activity 1 - Brainstorm

My father was an influenence on me, he was a teacher/educator, that is a large reason why I am a teacher.  One interesting project he worked on was to administrate a school that was for Chinese Immigrant students to help transition them to more mainstream schools.

My mother recenthly moved to San Francisco, and diring here time there, she has been elected the President of the local chapter of the California Commission for the Blind, has recently found her dream job as a Social Worker at the LightHouse for the Blind.  She has also inspired me, as she is an individual who has transcended great hardship.
