My grandma Memo...a Native American... was different we lived close so I saw her a lot. Her mother was Gamuchus Had a lot of Indian stories.  My dad was the generation before and hid his Indianness.  I learned Indian words, but I only remember the bad ones.  Their perception of religion was different, had Christianity but still had old beliefs about God represented in nature.

Dad is from Ireland.  They sang a lot.  The relatives taught the children how to dance and waltz.  It seemed unusual that others didn't have the experience with dancing, so now Linda dances mostly at family gatherings.
